Is it true that the carbon clutches dont chatter at all and the wear/maint is less than steel clutches?
I mean, is it really worth the $2k? I'm not considering one, just curious b/c i'm hearing about em more and more.

try welded.
true. carbon clutches are known for an initial slip, which help save drivetrain components. therefore used in many drag and drift applications, mainly for higher horsepower cars. also, u usually need to put heat into the clutches, making them expand getting a "harder" lock up.
Are we ever on the same page?
Maybe not. Who the **** cares though. It's all in good fun.
