it really all depends. usually everyone goes about covering their own car repairs if this happens.

i was pretty upset seeing him spin, and me not being able to avoid it. i knew it was about to ruin my car. pretty much just trailed ebrake into him hoping to dodge the TE's/suspension.

i did a pretty furious burnout for the better part of 2 mins for the crowd showing the frustration, but after i went in and looked at the car i realized it could have been worse, and walked up to him and said **** happens and im not pissed.

you gotta look at it from both sides. its part of the game. we all build ridiculous looking cars to get attention, coverage, fan pleasure, etc. we put them on the line every time we grid up for battle whether it's risking it into another car or into a wall. it definitely sucks, but at the same time its not as bad as having to build another shell and losing out on all the memories i've had in the car.

had the dude been amped up on hitting my car,, or it was clearly intentional, and hadn't shown any signs of remorse then obviously dudes will be dudes off track....

 

so does she just need a new door?

not trying to be a dick. but that is what happened. just because you wouldnt have hit him if he didnt spin doesnt mean you didnt hit him. thats like saying you wouldnt have hit a wall if it were 10 feet further away. point is your car tried to occupy the same place he was already at.

 

it happens. you can't put blame or fault on anyone who wads their car up in a tandem. The only way I could see bad blood is if the Buckey like "Days of Thundered" out of the pits and T boned him, or the kid was like "wtf" and got all Bro on him... then beating someones face into hamburger meat with your helmet is justified.

on the other topic, dude spun, Buckey had a shallow line, boom smash. looked like a no-faulter to me, **** happens in drifting. the common rule has always been "you fix yours, i fix mine". everyone knows this

 

ah.. hey guys. yeah the event was a blast. i was stuck with only second gear all weekend though so it kind of rained on my parade.. going to round 2? registration is open

 

we want to do more VDr, but rnd 2 is really soon after the 2 rounds of XDC here which is right after longbeach so it will be a busy time for sure. really like how well vegasdrift is run and how cool everyone there is, cant say enough good things
