Then when it came time to run Ken, I screwed up the same way I was doing in practice. Slowed down too much, and no amount of clutch-kicks could get her going again.
I didn't realize any of this until after I got home and watched the videos. At least Ken straightened behind me! haha
My first FD event was a HUGE learning experience. Hopefully I'll be a little more prepared in Atlanta.

A lot of the veteran pro guys were slowing down a lot in the first turn, and I was having a hard time following them. I think I was entering a little too late, and taking a wider line. It felt good to me, but then when I got to practice with the good group, it started screwing me up. I was starting to get it figured out, and then Tyler Mcquarrie kinda half-spun in front of me and I hit him. So I was pretty frustrated and just parked the car for the rest of that practice session.
