Justin P. does the Falken FD have aftermarket lower control arms "Ikeya Formula" or stock? If you look in my sig it also looks like my trailing wheel has more angle just like the picture you posted of the Falken car, ive been told that its better to have the leading wheel have more angle if possible which makes cents. Is there anything to do to help prevent or adjust this while not ******* up toe?

Last time I saw the falken FD it did not have lower arms. And the Ikey forumla arms are nice, they allow for more angle because they are moved forward, and you can adjust toe from the lower spindle so it helps widen your front track at the same time. But for the money if you can find a set, its really not worth it, you can always just notch the stock one to gain angle.

Also It is also going to be really hard to get the lead wheel to have more angle without either changing your knuckle, or changing the toe. JTP's knuckles look really close in the picture, if not dead on to having 0 acramin.

werd just wondering, A good friend of mine Mike Feiock "drove a red/yellow FC in Fourmula D last season" were talking about having the Ikeya Formula arms reproduced. He works for a rx8/road racing/IRL shop in Indianapolis that makes all the arms for there race cars. Anyway he just picked up a FD3S to slide for next season and we were wondering if there would be any intrest for FD3S guys if he made these.

It was debated that if the leading wheel has more angle then you are dragging the following wheel and vise versa if your following wheel has more angle then your pushing your leading wheel. Althought both are demmed bad it was a debate of the lesser of two evils. Matching angle seems the best but its easier to say then DO . Anyway i hate talking all this nerdy drift setup talk in the wrong section sorry for the thread jack. Back to posting pictures of our money pits

I'm still learning and yes only first I only hit 7k rpm once doing that LOL I'm trying to gain more throttle control as well as tune my suspension so yeah a few donuts here and a tiny bit of drifting there a few adjustments in between then I will play with second and third

thought you spun in the first turn because you go so much angle compared to the other guy

hahaha he ended up doing this. he wasn't too worried about the rear aero anymore.

@J.Lowe, i picked up 18x12-15 Weds Kranze Cerberus polished wheels for the rear, and already have BN.

they were saying this event was supposed to be 120+ entries. so i pulled it all off to save it. back window flipped backwards doing these things a few weeks ago. didn't feel like putting another one on. this is still technically the off season. it's all just testing/missile events from now till January

my thoughts exactly. hahaha it looks so gay - but still happened.

if i got on throttle during the backwards section the front wouldn't bite up to start coming back around.

never doing those again. did like 5-6 tries, and nailed it. the results were super belted/flat spotted brand new front tires.

eff those things.
