TX New FD Project

Just picked up another 1993 Vintage Red FD3S It is currently a rolling shell which was parted out by the previous owner after tweaking the frame slightly in a ditch. So here are some pictures of the car from last week...

The car is now at my friend Anthony's body shop, Select Automotive, getting the car straightened out. Him and his Dad do EXCELLENT work!

Thanks,

Andrew

The shell should be all straightened out and ready to pick up next weekend. Also, my NEW FD exhaust sleeves came in Thanks to Japan2LA!

Thanks,

Andrew

I bought the car from a friend who has a fabrication/racing shop. So, the intention is to build it for track only duty.

Since Cosmo intake manifolds are getting harder to find and pricey, does anyone know if the REW manifolds bolt up. I guess I will just port them as far as they will go :/

The shop I have the car at getting straightened out just lost there good body guy :/ So work on my car is going slow.

BUT, I did buy some Nagisa seat rails in the mean time

Still debating on sourcing Cosmo manifolds or not...I REALLY want to keep the Cosmo look + torque!

Thanks,

Andrew

A couple JDM boxes showed up this week

Got some Nagisa Super Low seat rails and some JDM intake manifolds. Couldn't find any Cosmo manifolds for the right price, so I'm just going to port match these.

The JDM lower intake manifold has a "little" better flow, since it does not have the EGR on the runners as well as having less of a "dent" on the rear intake runner.

Mine...

USDM/XS Manifolds...

Thanks,

Andrew

^NOW you ask me

I'd like a set of 13B-RE intake manifolds. I have yet to find any in decent condition for a decent price though :/

LMK!

Thanks,

Andrew
