A louvered undertray would be the best way to protect it and increase airflow through the engine bay.

that is about 3in off the ground,

car will come up about 1 inch .so i will have 6 inches to the rad and 4 inch for the bumper..

and the car is 1962 LBS

What welder are you using? I plan to upgrade really soon. I only have a small 140amp lincoln with 75 argon/25oxygen.
