You could make your own...just takes a bit more skill and a welder. Or fiberglass knowledge and some rivets.

Meh, I suppose. I made mine in 8 hours, only had to spend about 40 bucks on the sheet metal and the wood.

But you are right...there comes a point where its cheaper to buy some premade stuff instead of making it yourself.
