Ever seen this lower control arm???
I'm pretty sure they custom made it, but I figured I'd ask anyway... Has anyone ever seen a lower control arm like this on an FD?? If so, where do you get one.
This is from the RE-Amemiya D1 FD3S from 2004 I think.

you are correct sir also ikeya formula only made parts for the FD nothing for the FC. Ikeya Formula parts are used on many D1GP cars also. I believe moonface makes a modified stock lowercontrol arm.

Someone NEEDS to make full custom tubular jawns for the fc......
Camber, roll center and bump steer correction plus extra steering clearance with spherical arm to body bearings and a pillow ball knuckle bearing.
Something very similar to these....but for the fc and for the front....
FD3s seems to get all the good stuff. Not that fc's dont suck complete dicks being lowered to the max on what we've got but it would help having something like that. Its, auto x'ers and scca guys have been schooling me on all that good ****.

Think about it. People build circle track and dirt track cars all the time and make all their own suspension components in their garage. What's stopping us? Laziness?
It's worth investing in some tooling, something i SHOULD have done last winter but didn't b/c i wanted to gain some ground on my car i left sitting for 8 months.

Were I do do it, I would build a left and right jig, on the chassis side use spherical bearings and spacers for a "track" version and polyurethane bushings for the "street" version. At the hub use a race-quality LBJ on the street version, and a forged rod end and "pin" on the race version, which would also need an insert in the a-arm so that you can adjust camber without having to remove the "pin" from the uptight. It "could" also be taken further, using an adjusting link frnt and rr of the control arm to allow for more control over track, castor, etc.
anywho, just thining out loud...
