jtp looked like his tranny was gone, and mohan, dude, what happened? clutch?
anyways, i was at infineon and was dissapointed. mohan, you seeded 11th, what happened the first round of 16?

my 3rd gear synchro starting going and i was having problems getting it to stick in 3rd.. as per my 1st run.. everyone was saying the run was on it, until i couldn't get the 2-3 shift through the last sweeper. then my 2nd run the diff exploded and i had nothing.. just coasted through the course then back to the entry to the pits..

there's nothing worse than to fail from mechanical issues.

friday everything was working well and i felt like i had left a lot on the table to score even better on saturday.

if you were dissapointed.. u can only imagine how i felt.

every time the car works i've gotten into top 16... everytime it breaks i don't even get a chance.

 

i deff wasnt dissapointed, i just felt bad for you guys. and i know how you feel.
you should post some pics up of the damage.

i got a lot going on this week, but i'm gonna try and pull it maybe wed. i'll throw some up when i figure out what exactly happened...

i'm pretty sure the pinion broke.. or at least that's what it seems to be from what i checked out.

We broke a ring gear against Chris, i was able to make the second run but as you can imagine things just wer'nt working right...

because they're expensive and hard to get..

 

can get the sequential one from hks that mad mike uses. i think it has an 18k price tag. but that might be kiwi dollars

 

also expensive

stock trans are more affordable right now... even if they only last 2-3 events.

 

and i couldn't imagine the costs in having to rebuild a dogmission if it broke
