Yup i backhalfed the whole rear but a buddy welded it up for me and when we did, i forgot to hammer out the section that was smashed. Didnt realize it was in as far as it was till after we were done. Knew it was gonna get smashed again anyways so we left it. It doesnt bother me much.

My newest sponsor Smashed Clothing came through with the new goods. DMAX D1 spec hood. Theyre having a huge aero blowout sale! Hit them up for the deals on their facebook page. Smashed Usa or find them on IG @smashedusa or by tag #getsmashed

Really hoping the new turbo will be here by next weekend. I opted to go with the Garrett GTX3582r with a T4 1.06 hotside. Definitely going to be moving some air and so looking forward to being back with another reliable Garrett Turbocharger setup.

I havent noticed a difference yet tbh... I still prefer the 2nd gen setup i think. Rear motor mounts sucks. Runs a little hotter overall than my fc motors. Fuel rail/injector insert issues... If it blows im going back to an fc motor with s5 iron.

The new hood is fresh but I will agree with him on the spacers the hood is already shaped to vent so you don't need them since its a lifted hood already the spacers make it a lol too lifted bro just my opinion.

Technically no, but the ecu thought it was... The tune was setup to shut the car down at 200* and load up on fuel.... I guess thats cool and all but it should have been around 260* and not 200... Last weekend we street tuned it with a 12psi wastegate spring. Seems okay, but i still have transient throttle stumble as soon as the car sees boost for a split second. Retuning on a dyno next weekend

The car never got that hot before so i never knew. Waiting to see what happens next round. LOL

The hood is only up 1/4" and like i said id rather have it how i like. To set it down ill need to move my killswitch, notch the hood for my alternator, and vmount piping and move my FPR.

my new turbo mani sets the turbo so high.... now the piping is super tall and no matter how many pie cuts or bends/angles i use, it keeps the hood from sitting flush. im cutting the inner frame out the hood and gonna have to space it

Btw that whole duraflex bn kit and msport wide fenders fit like total garbage deformed pre chipped and cracked everywhere had to use the heatgun a lot.

I think its about time buckey lets everyone know he is switching to the dark side of the engine bay..... After countless forums i have seen of him bashing anything other then a rotary in these cars he decides to switch.

Him going V8 is the best choice he has ever made. Not to hate on the rotary but if he wants to drift and drift consistently, a reliable motor is going to help him greatly.

I'm gay. I went with an ls2. Andrew redward is blowing my mind with his awesome driving. JTP is swearing that a v8 fc is the only way to make it into top contention in FD these days.

Fresh falkens

And the money shot

Remember though.... I have 2 FC's..

Best of luck to you no matter what engine setup you're running, you're still representing the FC chassis. It is kind of hard to argue with what Redward is throwing down anyways...

I dont blame you going v8. Realistically that is the easiest way to keep up if you ever want to go do formula d. Although Jeremy Lowe seems to be doing a fine job of keeping up with these crazy fast v8 cars. Its hard but not impossible. How much did you pay for that ls2 if you dont mind me asking cause it does look to be in pretty good shape? How many miles?
