What was the final price on the kit with everything supplied (including the modified items that have to be sourced)? And how long will it take to supply? Also will it mount up to the s6 box and in it's current position?

The transmission stays in its factory location, no mods needed. With you being in australia, would you need a RHD steering rack? Because I'm not sure it would easy for us to get one of those. And would you need a 20b lower intake manifold and oil pan core too? What is your timeframe? It might be cheaper for you to send us your parts.

Weird, they're still not working for me. I am at work however, so maybe the pictures are being blocked by the firewall or something. Sorry for the confusion. I'll have to check the thread at home

I though I remembered asking this question, but I don't see the response or remember what you said, so here goes again (sorry):

If the tranny and the steering rack stay in the factory location, how does the motor clear? Does it sit higher than stock, or at an angle, or is it just a reworked oil pan that allows it to fit? I assume that it sits higher, because you mention UIM/hood clearance issues.

Thanks!

Sorry about that. The motor sits roughly about an inch higher than stock. Oil pan is also modified to clear the subframe. UIM does have clearance issues, so we modify the LIM to clear the hood if you are wanting to use the factory intake system.

Tell you what, I will build you a race 20b engine, and in exchange give me your car .
Haha, seriously that is one nice ride you have. A 20b conversion would finish it off and make it priceless!

20B rebuild kits do not cost 4k...they cost about 2K. Unless your talking about replacing multiple housings and irons....

Not to mention if you someone who will have to have someone else do the labor you could look at another couple of grand there at least.

This kit is awesome. I wish I had the money to swap in a 20b.

Does this sort of thing work for an fc as well?

Has any one installed this kit yet, and if so what do you think of it so far?
