12 hour drive & 5 hours of rain no problem, home sweet home. With news of Bin Ladens demise! High 5's all around!

Awesome 1st time at the Gap by the way, will be back for more!

Made it back to Jacksonville safely and with no problems also. Car had a distinctive piston smell to it that I couldn't figure out until I remembered Eddie drove the car at DGRR Joke of course!

Thanks to the Miami crew for allowing me to hook up with them: Hope Simon, Drew, Joe, and Lucy made it back safely also.

We made it back safe..
My ears are still ringing from my 4" exhaust for over 14 hours. I'm having a hard time hearing my coworkers so i am asking them to text me. I should get a hearing aid dog.

David you almost got clipped by that semi......that was no joke.

I still had some Dragon in me on the way home, drove 80-90 all the way and no tickets. My luck will run out one of these days.

No Problem.....
Glad you and your F-I-L made it safe.... We made it home around mid-night.. Unloaded my FD at Simon's house due to the driveway angle....made it easier for my low *** FD...

Bad report to post..

Went and picked it up today and she left me stranded 2 miles from home...
Smelled an electrical short while I was driving and before I could react... she died...Keeps popping the 15 amp engine fuse.... Funny thing is that I ordered a front Tow hook last week and it arrived today... Wife came home and picked it up and delivered it to me. Got to use it right away.. I installed it on site and pulled my bitch home....

Time to start troubleshooting

On a positive note......
It didn't happen on the Dragon or in the Mountains which could have been worse...so everything is good on that end...

The northeast group had a long trip back helping a fellow FD owner nurse his car back with a badly leaking oil pan..... we were stopping every 75-100 miles to check the oil level and refill as needed. Coincidentally my FD has a decent amount of engine oil all over the front bumper and hood

Great to see everyone, the weather this year was the best yet (no rain)
