Ok so what's the plan here guys... I figured I'd go ahead and make a thread for us...

After us beach bums make the drive to Raleigh, we're going to need some food and a break from the road. We need to figure out what time RRDI is rolling out so we can get get there in time to rest and eat!

 

Yeah we'll have to work this out. Last year I think we left around 10am, had lunch on the way. Got there later that afternoon and checked in and stuff before going to meet up with everyone at dinner Friday night. We're going to need to get a good idea on who is coming from where in the state first I guess and then work on meeting up here and along the way there.

 

Tight schedual, motor must be installed and body and paint done. I would like to make this trip!

we have two groups leaving one on thursday and one on friday. the friday group looks like it will be leaving around 12. it might give you guys more time to make the haul from the coast.

 

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm the only one coming from the east side.

 

yuh on friday RRDI is leaving (as in show up sooner) at noon at cracker barrel (?) ..

 

Friday is leave from Cracker Barrel or Char-Grill at noonish I think unless that group decides on something else. Thursday is leave from Cracker Barrel at 9am but we might need to push it back to 10am to let Nic and Jason have time to get there.

 

yah i was hopin for char-grill because i have no idea where cracker barrel is

 

maps are on the rrdi site. thursday's group will leave at 9am, friday's group is still looking kinda wacky!!!

it has been officially "wackified" again now... because some of the guys have class that morning, so I think some of us are going to leave at 1 at the LATEST. The rest of the group for Friday can leave as early as they want. I'd love to leave pretty early, but Josh and his Supra buddy are going to be leaving around 1, and I SOOO gotta be rollin with the black FD and black Supra! *wiggles in seat* Oh what a good weekend this will be...

WHOA WHOA WHOA! Hold the phone here fellas. I may have to join in on this fun. I live in Wilmington BTW, anyone rolling out from around Hurr?

 

I am in J-ville, and a buddy of mine is in Wilmington. We are probably gonna leave Thrusday morning though.

 

I might be able to join you guys in J-ville if I can but I might not be able to head out until friday.

 

I'll definitely be gone by Thursday morning (I am taking leave for this), but if you can't make that, there is a couple groups leaving from Raleigh on Friday.

 

Looks like there will be two groups leaving Friday from the regular RRDI meeting site. One will be leaving around 1pm the other sometime earlier that day. Hit the RRDI.org site for details or stay tuned to this local station.

 

the big group will be leaving around 1pm Friday. that gives you coastal guys plenty of time to make it to raleigh. anyone thinking they are gonna make it, let me know. email me jmunilla@nc.rr.com or PM me.

I will be rolling out on Friday from Wilmington, if anyone wants to caravan with me. I'm waiting on a part from rx7store.net, if it wasn't for that I would leave tonight. If that the part gets here soon enough I will try and catch the RRDI caravan that is leaving on friday at 1. See ya at DG.
