I'm the Fontana Village contact for you guys coming to the rally. A couple of things everyone needs to know..

Registration for all units will no longer be at the administration building, it has been moved to the lobby of the hotel.

The ENTIRE hotel has been completely renovated. Those of you who have stayed there before will not recognize the place. Most of the cottages have been either completely renovated or at least improved.

We have named the 22 mile section of Highway 28 from Deals Gap to 143 the "Hellbender" (in the same vein as the "Dragon"). There will be all sorts of associated merchandise available at the completely renovated Texaco station. Check out www.hellbender28.com for more info.

Under the guise of the new owners, basically everything has been changed for the better in some way.

And lastly and most important...If any of you can think of anything that would make Fontana Village unique to car rallies, tell me. Burn out pit? Larger car wash area? Covered parking? Think outside the box..

I'm looking forward to seeing all of you again here at improved Fontana Village.
