Cool Restaurants around DGRR

Since Howard posted a sure-fire miss, I figured I'd post up some of the places I've found over the years that I really enjoyed.

I'm sure there are a few I've missed but these are all solid picks.

BRYSON CITY
Pasqualiano's - Italian place, right in downtown Bryson. Really good food, nice place inside, reasonably priced. They have the BIGGEST Calzone I have ever seen, literally the size of a cat.
25 Everett St Rear, Bryson City, NC 28713

Guyabito's Mexican - tried it for the first time last year, was very pleased, good standard Mexican food menu and good prices. If you are from somewhere with serious Mexican it isn't that but it's solid.
Valley Village Shopping Center, 236 19 S, Bryson City, NC 28713

NANTAHALA
River's End - one of my favorites, right on the Nantahala river and the Appalachian Trail passes right by so they get a lot of hikers. Sandwiches, pizza, all sorts of good stuff and a great view of the river. The cobbler is AMAZING.
13077 W Hwy 19, Bryson City, NC 28713

NEAR THE DRAGON
Tapoco Lodge Resort - great outside dining by the river. All sorts of food, I had a smash burger last year that was awesome. They also have grilled ghost pepper wings appetizer that was INCREDIBLE.
14981 Tapoco Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771

Deal's Gap Motorcycle Resort - they have a restaurant in the motel there that has REALLY good burgers and onion rings.
17548 Tapoco Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771

SKYWAY
Iron Works Grille - been there 2 or 3 times, it's at the end of the Skyway, sandwiches and burgers.
1641 Cherohala Skyway, Tellico Plains, TN 37385

Always looking for other good spots you have tried out, post up with any good ones!

Dale

+1 for Dale's & 73's picks, I've dined at all of those places and they hit the spot! The house cat sized calzone at Pasqualiano's was literally a dinner AND a lunch for me last year!

Thumbs up

The Everett Street Diner is pretty close to the Bryson City Microtel and has amazing breakfasts, we went there every morning last year

I second Everett Street Diner for breakfasts. I've seen plenty of locals there the two times I've been. Simple, no fuss diner food.

IDK about you guys but Taco bell serves a mean burrito.

EDIT: but for real the junk carnival style food in Gatlinburg is pretty fun to chow down on. Stuff like turkey legs and corndogs.

All great places to go eat and drink at!
