Any Rooms or Village Cabins for 2017?

Was hoping to stay at the Village but it looks like it's full. Before I book my hotel I'd like to see if anyone has any other good options!

Thanks!

The KOA is right on the edge of Cherokee.

Cabins run from something like $40/night to $130/night weeknights.

The microtel in Bryson is close and usually pretty affordable and gives DGRR discounts I think. Its
also a fairly new motel and includes a breakfast bar that opens early. Love those waffle machines!
I stayed there my first few times until a group of us started getting a cabin together.

First time DGRR for me so I ended up at two rivers lodge. I can only make it Friday Saturday Sunday. When I booked last week there were only a few room left. Friend from Ohio w the SLC 20b is at microtel. The reviews didn't look so good so I avoided that one. Almost opted for Robinsville but thought otherwise. I'm just glad to be going at all. Last twelve months have been tumultuous at best so I really need the getaway. On a lighter note I pulled mine out of the garage yesterday to discover what pollen is like in the south. My black five letter was powder yellow..! Cleaned and covered. Phew! Really looking forward to this event. Last rotary event I graced was way back in 1988 with the Rotary Club of America. Can't remember a thing!! Different car different life smaller event. No pics either. My fiancé might not be able to join me so I might be solo. See you there!! Happy rotaring..

Love to see it along with the other nearly 30 fd's coming (so far).

I'm in FL way too far to drive when flights are so cheap and easy and reliable. I used to live in NC in the area.
Cheers!

36 days to go!!! Like waiting for Christmas when I was a kid (a long time ago btw). Going to be very cool seeing so many rotaries in one place. Next best thing to 7stock.

I've still not got a place yet. I've looked at some rentals, and most that are affordable are on rough, steep gravel roads. My ride knows all about that -- it has to take a 1-mile steep gravel road to home. I don't bring her up her much as she starts getting hot (mid-way on the gauge). I'm registered for DGRR though! This will be my 1st - got my first RX7 in Dec 2016. It was pretty much mint when I got it; just needed shocks. Well, everyone knows how that goes -- it needed bushings also, and springs, etc. New Tokiko Blues all around with RB springs; new stab bar links & bushings (front & back); ball joints, tie-rod ends, idler arm, wheel bearings up front; all new links and control arms in rear; new brake pads, rotors and caliper lines; double-din head unit w/ GPS & new speakers & sub; and lastly, I installed new rear carpet today. I've still got a RB primary exhaust waiting to throw on it, and need to replace the clutch (TO bearing chattering) and I'm ready -- oh, I got 2 small rust spots I'd be about ashamed to show up with. I'm in SE KY, so only about 4 hours away. When is the drive on the roads?

ur right, they're not cheap. u wont be disappointed by any of their cabins, i've stayed in quite a few of them. looking forward to seeing the 3. since they have gotten out of reach for me to ever get another one, that's all i can do is admire those that others have.

Theres usually a big drive on Friday heading out on to the Cherola Skyway to Tenn and
then back via 128 and the dragon in time for the Damn Dam photo shoot. Theres a stop
for lunch midway out in Tenn. Great drive and I try to make it each time. Its always a
blast. I hope the rain stays away this year.
