Header for NA FC

Quick question for you Corksport guys.
Does the afore mentioned header come with a bung for the O2 sensor already in place? I assume so but I can't tell from the pic on your website.
so far I've gotten your strut tower braces and SS braided clutch and brake lines and have been VERY impressed wityh the build quality.

Yes. It does come with the bung in place as well as a piece of wire and connectors to extend the O2 sensor wire so it can reach the place we put the bung. The bung is located after the collection, towards the end of the pipe.

Thanks for your support!

Does the "CorkSport 86-91 Rx7 'Power Series' N/A Header" come with a 6-port actuator pick-up tube, or was it designed for modified 5th and 6th ports on a series 4?

Basically my question is if the header will allow my 5th and 6th ports to open on 87 RX-7 N/A.

It doesn't because our header does not replace the factory main catalyst, it just bolts to it.. You will still have your pick-up tube coming off the cat.

I don't mean to question your knowledge, but are you sure the pickup tube comes off the catalytic converters? I don't have the stock cats, I have high flow aftermarket cats, and my pickup tube looks like its coming from underneath the heatshield for the stock headers.

Ok, thanks. Then I guess my aftermarket cat compensated for this.

At Sevenstock, I talked to an employee and asked about a group buy for the header for the N/A FC. I'd just like to follow up on this - will it happen?

Maaaaybe, I doubt it though. We've done one before and only about 3 people came through on it. We'll see.

I've been thinkin bout getting a header.

I was thinking of getting the header, and getting a downpipe (Pre cats are only for start ups I read, yeah? Do the pre cats cause any performance loss? I hear over time they break apart into the main cat so maybe a good idea to dump them now.

I was thinking of either running a hi-flow cat that replaces the stocker, I got a CS catback, was also kinda thinking of just keeping my cat for smogging(that works) and just getting a pre-silencer in place of the stock cat, but with these cali tight emissions control lol.

Anyways do you guys sell a down pipe that'll replace the pre cats?

Does this header eliminate the pre-cat in the 89-91 application?

The header removes the pre-cats. it bolts up to the main cat.
