Why am I loogged out after 10 or 15 min?

I've written up 3 posts for new topics that required some research and copy and pasting. With me typing in the box and adding thing to the thread the whole time, by the time I'm done and hit post or preview, I'm logged out and all my work is gone. Aside from coping my work before hitting post, how can this be fixed. I have no setting on my PC to have it log me out. No other sites I'm on do this.

This has been bugging me lately too. It seems like I spend half my time logging back in.

I had the same problem. It happened just before and during the time owner transition was announced. I believed I solved it by having the "system" remember me.

This happens to me as well. Your work should NOT get deleted though as long as you log back in when prompted.

This Is Complete Bs! Why The Hell Is This Even An Issue? Let Alone, No Mods Have Responded To This. I'm Not On Here Dicking Around And Giggling With People. When I Take The Time To Post Something And Reference Information To Help People, The Site Should Not Be Logging Me Off!

Someone Please Look Into This And Give A Reply.

Thank You

I'm not having this issue. I suggest you check your privacy and security settings in whatever browser you use.

I have checked those settings. A few other people are having the issue as well. Are you able to say the web site does not have a setting to log people off?

Thank you for replying.

I checked the settings in the UserCP on the forum and didn't see anything about it.

For the guys experiencing this problem, are you checking the box to "remember me"? I always check that box(unless I'm logging in on a computer I don't use regularly).

That's really odd. I've never experienced this problem, and I log on from many different computers. I'll try and elevate the question up the chain.....

What internet browser(s) do you use? Have you tried different browsers? For instance, if this happens when you use Internet Explorer, have you tried installing Opera or Mozilla?

Funny thing Keith, I have this problem now when I use Ihor's computer with internet explorer. He doesn have the problem with mozilla tho. I'm thinking maybe it's just the internet options? I looked at cookies etc and it all seems fine to me.
