What's the purpose of Other Engine Conversions section?

I don't see supra, mustang,or chevy (with chevy car) coming here and stir up this forum. What is the purpose of other engine conversions section on a rotary club? All I see is just a pissing match back and forth.

I don't condone the stirring of ****, but there are plenty of more childish folks on the v8rx7forum that like to act their shoe size.

Not all the V8 conversions are faster then all the Rotary powered cars. I just think they need some reality check in the matter.

But yes, if they have an "other engine conversion" section it keeps the threads from sitting in the gasoline er... generation forums.

Yep, other Engine Conversions are for owners non rotary powered RX-7s to discuss their technical issues and stay out of the general population (which the majority of which does not like non rotary powered RX-7s.

It look more like a place where former rotary owner bashing rotary because they grow a mullet. Honestly there's more bs in that section than the lounge.

The other engine conversions exists so that I can go there, watch the former rotary owners bash each other.....

boast of how relialbe and fast there piston engined conversions will be once they get them running..(some of them 3~4 years later and still not running)....

here them complain about grannies prices......

and here them moan about how unreliable roataries are in general....

funny though my 13bt conversion is now running for two years straight. Started at 205 flywheel HP then it gradually went from that to 250 rwhp then 350 rwhp and now, well **** I have to go and get this thing redynoed cause the unreliable 13bt that I transplanted 2 years ago has went and grown a larger turbine.... again

Funny. I pulled my perfectly running s5 turbo setup and dropped in an LS1 cause I was bored.

Seriously, if you feel you need to play the my junk is bigger then your junk game keep it in the lounge, you'll find plenty of others that like to feed off that crap in there.
