How about a Turbo FB sub forum under the First Gen section. Has this already been brought up?? If not what do you think about it?? yes? no? maybe??

To the ModGod who made the move; isn't this question directly related to the 1st gen section? I thought it was a pretty good suggestion myself, but you're the boss....

Ok, how about we call it the Turbo First Gen Forum. Whats are some thoughts on that?

 

I think it might help if a set of recipes was developed for different setups.
12A, 13B, drawthrough carb, blowthrough carb, EFI: Mazda - aftermarket - Megasquirt, intercooled -water injected .
A complete listing of the preferred parts and setup including links to sources, estimated budget, and approximate power and 1/4 mile ET resulting from each "recipe".
This should make it a lot easier for folks to pick a workable setup and know up front the expected results and costs.
within each recipe would be links to a how to page for various parts of the setup (intercooler, fuel system.turbo manifold etc.
Of couse this would depend on a lot of members contributing segments of the data and someone would need to take on the coordination and upkeep on the pages.

 

I think we need this sub section because you could have all the turbo first gens info in one area!

My recommendation would be to petition the 1st gen mod. Get a sticky going first.

If there is enough support in the sticky thread then take it from there.
