I have the new bb torch and it asks me every damn page

 

I'm happy that we finally have a mobile versions, believe me.

But the average page is 250K. That's 225K too big. It is no faster then browsing the regular versions.

 

 

I am not able to replicate the problem. The pop up will only appear once per day, and it respects whichever style choice I make.

Note that you can also always choose the normal style after accepting the mobile one, by scrolling to the bottom of the page, and hitting the 'normal' button on the bottom left of the screen.

If you have an issue with the pop up coming on every page load, please clear your cookies for the site from your phone, and re-log in. This will solve the problem.

you can not just hit the button on the bottom to switch between the mobile and normal. the only way to go to the normal site is to clear your cookies. but who wants to do that? i lov emy cookies

 

hey thejallenator, i am sorry to hear you're having that experience. We aren't able to replicate it using any of our phones.

Which phone are you using? Have you tried to clear your cookies at least once?

im running the iPhone 4. i can get it to go to the normal site if i clear my cookies, but thats just a hassle cause i cant just clear certain ones. it sall or none and i dont want to delete them all

 

I am on an iPhone 4 as well. I just loaded the site, selected yes when the pop up asked me. I read this thread, then I hit the normal button at the bottom left of the page.

It reloaded the full version instantly and without issue.
