Relax...

Ask a little more nicely and maybe we can do something about it.

Sheesh.

Yep, pops up between every new page. I really don't think I should have to click no every time I want to load a page.

But I thouht EVERYONE wanted a stupid mobile app!

You meant they DON'T!?

DAMN it! Now I have to scrap my massively inflated, processor intensive app that make your phone overcycle and overheat!

Oh wait... The FruitPhone does that.

Please Super Mod could you please make it stop? I have an EVO 4G for a reason and I don't have any problems looking at the full site.

I need a mobile app for the palm pre I have zoom in and out when trying to read. And scroll left to right when typing. I'm on my palm right now and I usually forget to say anything but since you guys brought it up. Not to be a jerk but I think 8club has an app for that. Lol

Alex you don't need the mobile app you need a better phone. No really, it's not the app that is the problem. EVERY time you try to go to a different page the pop up jumps out at you for you to go to the mobile app. It should ask you once and if you select no it should leave you alone.

Why even write it as an app? Just forward it, bis javascript, judged by resolution. Pretty much EVERYTHING under 640x480 is mobile.

I've bone it a few times, with clients' websites... Most of the time it's forwarded to a subdomain, say, m.InsertWebsiteHere.blah

No App needed and the same thing's accomplished.

Extremely annoying, I only go on the forum on my phone since I don't have a computer and that pop up is ruining the mood.

nvmyrx7, actually I guess my phone has pop up blocker. So I'm not getting this ad you guys get lol.

and a m.rx7club.com would be nice with tabs instead of thread links. (its hard on us touch screen guys to hit the right thread tittles)

Alex, didn't you see where I said I'm working off the ALMIGHTY HTC EVO 4G? Of course, I have pop-up blocker but the problem is once you accept the mobile app everything is fine. Now, if you don't accept the mobile app that is when it keeps asking you to use it EVERY TIME you navigate to another page.

RX7Club on the Droid

So the 7club has come out with a mobile version apparently. So when I browse the forum on my Moto Droid every time I load a page it gives me the message "we now offer a mobile them. Click ok to view it." I have no interest in using the mobile view so this is quite annoying. I use the Dolphin browser, is there a way to keep this message from appearing?

Exactly I hate mobile versions. They are only useful for older smart phones that had horrible browsers. The new iterations of smart phones (droids and Iphones) really have no need for mobile versions.

Seriously, it needs to diaf. Why can't it work like every other website and just have a little link at the bottom (or top) of the page offering to jump between the Mobile site and the regular site?

I believe he's just saying that it doesn't try to redirect you to the mobile site if you use the mobile site.

If you "accept" the mobile view, you don't see the pop-up any longer. If you don't want the mobile view, you get the pop-up all the time.

The mobile app popup needs to

Can't there just be a hyperlink option at the top/bottom of the page offering to swap between "mobile" and "full"?
