The search function on this site blows
No wonder there are so many questions asked over and over. The word length limitations and treating key words as "too common" makes it useless. Discuss.

Some key words are too common.
Unless you want to get literally thousands of responses. If you have a clue of what your actually looking for you'd be able to specify something a little more specific or even maybe specify a couple of keywords at once.

I'll comment on this one.
The reason it is so hard at times to find good threads on a subject is because a lot of new members do not read our instructions or rules in the sections that ask that you search first before you post that 7 millionth thread on "How do I Turbo my engine"?
It is better to use the "Advanced" search feature and choose your options such as "Find the one with the most posts".
Information most of the time can be found by just downloading your copy of the FSM which has all of the test procedures and common maintenance questions.
We also have the FAQ section (Frequently asked questions) and the Archives both of which many members have gone to great lengths to provide members with answers to question that these "Lazy" members fail to look for.
It's a matter of helping yourself guys and making a effort to find existing threads that have the information that you are looking for instead of saying, "I don't have time and it's just a quick question", while you are playing X-box games or something! :-)
