I *kind of* agree... The FD was the epitome of "our" sportscar, therefore I think it deserves a rightful place in our banner. Not only that, I remember when the banner was changed to it's current FC form... It's been WAY too long. It used to be changed on a regular basis. 
Then again, I'm a happy FC owner and the only reason I want to see it changed is because it appears that the banner has been forgotten. I would PREFER it be replaced with another FC though... lol.

A friend of mine who saw the site for the first time remarked about the banner. He wondered why there wasn't an FD at the top. I'm not saying it's better, it's just that... well I do think it is. But! But notice I said, "I think" instead of stating it as a fact, so everybody can get off their high horses. There are reasons why all of them are great cars (because I do like all of them), which is why I think all of them should be represented. Somebody P-shop in an FC and FB.

It could just be a gif with the text being th e top most layer, and never changing.
For the FD, it must have 99 spec front end, that's my only demand, it's more catty, less fishy.

Having 3 banners sounds right, but why not have the FC banner load in the FC section and FB load in the FB section and the FD load in the FD section.
Have a seporate banner for the main area of the forum that has all 3 on it.

I think the sponor banner (regardless of what it is) should be trimmed such that the embedded link is only as big as the gif. That grey area around it is a pain in the ***.
