THAT'S what takes courage. Either that, or at the least, the rep points should automatically show your username. Courage and responsibility for your actions, cuz if you can't step up to the plate to support what you did...maybe you shouldn't do it in the first place

it was a joke. something several forum members cant seem to grasp. ive posted alot less " childish" things than that and got alot more **** over it.

 

Whether or not it was a joke, there are people out there that take that stuff seriously and religion happens to be a very personal subject for most.

 

i know, those people need to not take it so seriously, and not be offended by everything they read.

I definitely couldn't tell if it was a joke or not (it's online...tones aren't conveyed too well via text ) and while you have and are entitled to your own opinion about religion, others do take it VERY seriously and have the right to do so as well. I take religion w/ the utmost seriousness...there is religion, and then there's everything else. I'd die for it, and wouldn't hesitate for a second. So what you may nonchalantly say w/o a care in the world may very well offend and injure someone in the deepest areas possible. That's how many wars start - real ones. So just be mindful of how you joke, as even jokes have their limitations (and consequences).
