Pisses me off, I am going to buy a lotto ticket a day until I win and when I do, im going to buy this forum and make it kick *** again.

So my question is:

What would be the first thing you would do if you just bought the forum!

1) get rid of all the GD mods that **** me off
2) send everyone a rebate for their Tuner mag subscription and become the coolest dude ever!
3) help support the rx7 businesses because its tough to make it in the rotary world.
4) build me a tight ***, ***** pulling 7

It doesnt really matter, they will do what ever they want, and take away what ever they want.

They are so worried about the for sale section, with people trying to make money off their site with out them getting a piece of it.

Busy moderating the lounge and doing nothing in the technical sections which is where most of the members go. Every thread I go into is now filled with SEARCH button links and SEARCH you noob. Its bull!

They are more worried about people speaking out against the site and the way things are run, then they are taking care of what really matters.

I couldn't agree more, never ever ask a question that has ever been asked before. Despite the fact that the search function on the forum really does suck.

I just get on here to sell buy and find good info. But since i have been on here it has changed alot, change is good sometimes, but here it is to make it up to spec for the owners not the users. Web pages do cost money and we don't own the fourm so it really isn't up to us what they are going to do because if they really cared what we wanted out of this site they would ask. We demand which gets us the kills section back but still not the way we should go about things. I don't know anything i am just a non banned high 600 post range rx7 newb though.

 

idk why they just bumped the general discussion section above technical? isn't that the main reason we come to this site, for help with our rx7s?

 

you all make it sound like its easy to try to run a site. especially one where its free to be a member. the money doesnt just come out there asses. they HAVE to advertise, otherwise the site would run out of money. and if it sucks so bad, why are you still here? just to bitch and try to make a point to a useless discussion?

 

I agree on that one. I'm really unconcerned about the business side of this forum. I don't buy alot and I sell even less. I don't mind scrolling past vendor sections and banners with ads.

I simply get tired of new people (such as myself)feeling guilty about posting questions. They typically go something like "....I spent half the day searching, my fingers bleeding from surfing and my car won't run. Will someone help me..."

 

I have submitted a request for a rearrangement of how the forums appear so that the tech sections are at the top of the screen. As others have stated that is the main reason we come here is for tech, mod, and general discussion of our cars, not to buy parts. :-)

 

I keep clickin' on the wrong damn section, lol. It's like muscle memory, I can't help it.

 

^ me too...I was so fing confused this morning...scrolled down to where the lounge used to be, and found 1st gen tech. Hm...then vendors up top, and the lightbulb went on in my head. Another change to make IB happy...gotta keep that ad revenue flowing in.
