BC ROTARY SUMMER MEET!

About time we try to organize a big meet! July 7th on a Saturday, Meet up @ Colossus, chat and check out cars till 12:45 or 1, then cruise out to cultus lake, get food after perhaps!

Will get a map / address of the meeting point @ cultus soon

I know theres a few of us in surrey / delta area we can meet @ Strawberry hill @ 11:30 then cruise out to colossus, you guys from mission / van area can organize your own pre-meets if there are alot of you

Basic details below

DATE: Saturday July 7th 2012

TIME: 12 in the afternoon

PLACE: Meet @ Colossus parking lot (langley) @12pm , 1pm cruise to cypress

If its POURING rain or if it is raining Saturday and sunny on Sunday we can make a group decision to meet sunday, or just not go for the cruise if the weathers bad.

 

Got a good number of RX7s from local forum so far. Anyone needs more details PM me or check BCR!

 

What's the turnout looking like for the 7th? I'll probably come out if it's not raining.

 

Around 12-20 rx7s, 2-3 skylines, 2 STi's , few mustangs and other cars. Some rx7s might be coming from seattle also

alright so basically the route is simple from collosus, get onto hwy 1 and take no. 3 road Exit which will say cultus lake on it.. go down the hill to the lake and there will be parking there. watch out / watch your speed because cops like to hide down there with radar guns.

 

Collin you should still post up a map, especially for the guys coming across the border.

Hope everyone turns out to the meet, it'll be nice to meet some of the rx7club guys

So my girl and I are gonna head up there in the morning, Everyone else bailed out due to either dealer ship issues with the rx8 getting its free new motor. Everyone is about two steps from finishing there engines, but don't have them on the road yet and Too_short_88 all his cars are having boost issues including his Volvo that he was gonna drive up.

Well I'm looking forward to meeting all you up north and if this is a success hope to do it again.

 

Haha funny thing is there is a member getting a new motor in his rx8 also so he cant bring it, and quite a few ppl dropped out last second because they couldnt get their cars finished in time.. but should be a great turnout. I know a few mustangs are coming and other cars as well. the weathers supposed to be amazing also 25-28 degrees!

Hey the only reason I bailed was because the person I was going to get a ride with decided it was too much driving :p

Hey the rx8 ran just fine but why the hell not if you can get a bran new motor from mazda for free.

Was a great GREAT Turnout!!!!!! Was surprised to see a massive group when i showed up late lol heres a few pics i got with my crappy camera / skills.

I ended up going to white rock then granville island with my buddy in a FC that was there aftewards.

 

Thanks for putting this together... anyone get any pics of the long train of cars on the way out to Harrison?

 

No problem! I'll check on the local forums but nobody seems to be posting many pictures.. I didnt go on the cruise, ended up going to white rock then granville island afterwards
