I was looking at something and came across this.

The GT500 cars in Japan run 14" wide wheels front and rear and run 18" front wheel and 17" rear wheel set ups.

the tires they were running are 330/40/18 in the front, 330/45/17 in the rear.

Just wanted to pass this along to you since I know you were thinking about tires.

Find me radial slicks in that 17" size.

Gt500 cars also look like this:

I doubt anything related to tires these guys use will apply directly to you.

Edit: Just focus on quadrupling your budget for Aero

I am trying to portray that running as wide as you can front wheels will reduce his lap tips. The 10" wide front wheel is robbing him LOTS of time. He can even run the same tire and offset (keep the tire in the same spot) and run 11" wide and times will drop.

I am on his side, trying to help him. The Miata guys saw an almost 2 second lap improvement per 1:35 second lap time running a 1" wider front wheel, same tires.

I plan to put a 12" wide rim in the front next year. Like anything budget only lets you do so much at once. There's a reason I only got 2 rear CCW rims...

Small update, I received my authentic Autoexe carbon fiber front splitter. Picture is a little deceiving, its actually really big compared to the 99 lip. Minor front downforce? lol

I'm just wondering if anyone would be interested in my 20b setup. That is everything engine, exhaust, v-mount etc. to make it run. Serious inquires only.

I have something else in mind but I'd only do it if I could have this sold at a proper price. I'm sure most know whats in my build so don't have to list it haha. But for reference...

Probably cause I had my charger hooked up to it since I forgot to unplug my battery over the winter. Why is that important LOL.

Yea I curious because it seemed loud. If the door was open then that makes sense.

Didn't take it to the dyno after that. Changes were made but I already had my dyno baseline so I didn't see a need to go back to the dyno. I'll be on the dyno again this year though since I'm expecting a huge power increase from the new porting and turbo A/R.

Getting the itch to get back at my car. What do you guys think of this look for REAR fenders? Pettit flares molded in but keeping the original bulge instead of blending it in?

No way on the half blend. Go full on safari flares.

I'm ok with it. I particularly like how Porsche did their fender flares on the 993 GT2 – minus the visible rivets.
