as many have probably read over this winter ive been sweating bullets becasue I thought my car needed emissions this year. The renewal just came in and I dont. I am soo happy...gives me some time to figure out what I want to do and to see if they drop these stupid new drive clean ammendments.

I pressume I should renew for 2 years rather than I just to avoid the etest as much as possible???

posted under my brother.

Anyhow you cannot have a two year sticker. Since the system knows you need emissions next year.

I for one. will worry about it next year if I cannot get a "valid" emissions ticket. If I cannot get this ticket then I will be installing corvette airpump and huge catalitic etc. Or forever leave the rotary scene after 15 years..................

...Or get an 87 TII.
...Or get a stock RX-7 that passes emissions, if you love them so much.

Or get an FB... or move to Quebec... in my case, both.

Take that, environment!

Well, I know I'm sighing in relief after hearing this......since I need my e-test last year I wasn't sure if I would need anither one this year as well because of the new laws.

Thanks for making my day..........I guess we dodged that bullet for another year!!

The needs of the many, outweight the needs of the few. Or the one!
