Sunday July 15 - 5th Annual SGR Charity Car Wash & Dyno Day
Hey Guys! We had the pleasure of meeting a few of you last year at the car wash...let's hope you guys can make it out this year again! 
We will be holding our 5th Annual Charity Car Wash and Dyno Day Sunday July at JRP: 2344 South Sheridan Way, Mississauga from 11am - 6pm. Everyone from RX7 Club is invited to come!
The car wash will be $8 per car, $10 for Vans and SUV's. We will be using products proudly sponsored by Shining Monkey.
Dyno runs will be available at $80 for 4 runs: 2 dyno pulls and 2 quarter mile runs. Preference will be given to those who pre-register for the dyno. Participants must have payment ready and all the waiver forms completed before their turn on the Dyno. If you would like to Pre Register for the please go to our website www.sweetiegirlracing.com and follow the car wash links. We will be handing out prizes for fastest 1/4 mile reaction time, fastest 60ft time, and fastest quarter mile!
All proceeds from the Car Wash and Dyno will be going towards the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Our goal is to raise $1500 from our event. A strong turnout will be key for SGR to raise our donation goal this year. So come out and support us for cancer free breasts! Even if you dont want your car washed (by some hot ladies) you can just stop by and donate some money!! Tax deductible receipts will be available for those submiting monetary donations.

The venue for the Car Wash and Dyno Day has changed! We are moving to TAG Racecraft located by the QEW and 403. We will now be featuring the 900 +hp RWD S2K Bully Honda Civic and other high hp cars through the day on the Dyno!! Dont forget that there are dyno category prizes and raffle draws through out the day - not to mention the ladies of Sweetie Girl Racing washing your car! Just wanted to give you guys an update. The dyno runs format has changed slightly so now it's $80 for 4 full runs!! So if you break it down that's about $20/run which is an awesome deal, thanks to TAG racecraft! You'll also get a full print out of your best run, which will be submitted for a chance to win a pair of free tickets or a free tech pass to drag race pass at the Canadian Sport Compact Series Xtreme Tuner Showdown on August 11, more info at www.cscs.ca.

As of right now, we have only 3 dyno spots left!! A lot of people are interested but are not considered "fully" registered until they've paid. If you'd like a spot, please let us know ASAP and register on our site! Paypal, EMT or cash accepted.
Don't forget we will be featuring a turbo Solstice, a 800+ hp Camaro and of course, the 900+ hp Bully Civic.

Great news! Due to popular demand, we have opened up more dyno slots for Sunday!! We have spoken to TAG and they have allowed us to add more cars to our line up to accommodate the demand. Please pre register at www.sweetiegirlracing.com before 9pm tonight or show up before 1pm tomorrow to reserve your spot before it's too late!

Sweetie Girl Racing would like to thank all of the people who came out to support our 5th Annual Charity Car Wash and Dyno Day last Sunday July 15 @ TAG Racecraft. The weather graced us with some amazing sunshine and blue skies all day! The turnout for the event exceeded our expectations and is reflected in our numbers: in total, we dyno'd 24 cars, washed over 60 cars, and sold more than 100 hamburgers & sausages to the crowds in one single day. It was wonderful to see the large turnout that we had in support of a worthy cause!
Rob and Elena from Shining Monkey were also on hand for car care questions and demonstrations. Nick and Eric from Teknotik JDM were represented well, with several of their cars in attendance, and racing seats on display. Scott from Absolute Urban was on hand laying down some Hip Hop and House tunes for us to enjoy. Also, we had some additional excitement when we featured A.J. from Compression with his Turbo Solstice, the Bully 900+hp rear wheel drive Civic, and a 1000+ hp 1969 Camaro - all built and tuned by Tag Racecraft.
We would like to thank ALL the members of SGR that volunteered their time to make this work. We would like to give special mention to Renata M, Opal A, Rhonda C, and Angela S for their outstanding efforts during the car wash portion of the event.
Sweetie Girl Racing would also like to thank our additional volunteers who consistently support SGR including Richard Y, Mark G, AJ O, Jason A, Mark W (our official photographer for the SGR Car Wash), and Chris R (absolute AMAZING job providing food and BBQing throughout the day). Each of these individuals did a great job helping set up and tear down. We would also like to send a special thank you out to Derek T from JRE who made a $100 cash donation to the cause and challenged anyone to match it!! (That challenge has NOT been met - feel free to do so online in support of Team SGR in the Run for the Cure in September 2007!)

The Dyno prizes included free CSCS Drag Racing passes, CSCS spectator passes, Grand Prix Kartway passes, Dyno time courtesy of TAG Racecraft, a sub woofer courtesy of Kicker Audio, and magazines courtesy of Performance Auto and Sound Magazine.
We also raffled off free apparel from SGR, Kicker and Shining Monkey, Performance Auto and Sound Magazines, a Grand Prix Kartways karting Race suit and GPK karting passes courtesy of Grand Prix Kartways, and a set of racing seats courtesy of Teknotik JDM! Congratulations to all the raffle winners!
