yea for sure id think so too. start in the morning, and then till 5 is only like 8 hours, so possibly get in 4-5 cars for 1 day.
Well Smitter put if you agree with the date or not straight up, then we can think about what can happen. Just usually end of the month peopel may be a bit more busy. with bills etc, thats what i was thinking.

yea asap may not be possible, kan is busy all through mid-end of oct with other tune sessions. Im going to move my vote to the November arrangement. Gives us more time to get some more people on this, which we desperately need if we are ever to get this thing going.

Any other rotor heads want their cars tuned to run like the wind!? This is your only chance for a long time to get an amazingly powerful tune from the well recognized Rotary tuner. Dont let this opportunity slip away.
I'm in for Nov.1. I just need to get a bunch of **** in to my car first. Intercooler, piping, efini y-pipe, new duct, air intakes, ect. Which reminds, me i'm looking for a couple of things ... Ducting for Greddy SMIC, the pipe (elbow) from the ic to the cross over pipe, gasket for efini y-pipe.

Hey Nero would you be able to get all that stuff in time for Nov1? If so add your name to to the list, and we can go from there. We need to make sure anyone on the list is 100% in, cause we will be sending in deposits as soon as we can.
4 votes for November (which is everyone) And Nero may jump in and hes good for Nov as well. So if he does that, that makes 5 people confirmed for the Date and the Tune. That may be enough to set a date with Kan. SO as soon as you know Nero, let us know.

Hey smitter, yea man ive been doing some research on the best places in Calgary to rent a dyno from and it seems that Dynomotive is the best bet, they have 2 dynos as well. But ill be calling them this week to see if we can get a group rate for early November.

And hey Donz, i dont believe it will be crazy snow early Nov. I would expect you would be fine. But if you do want to get on with us and Kan, you will have to send a 200 dollar deposit to him once we figure out the date etc.

Just to let you guys know, Today is really the last day for me to receive the deposit to confirm the tuning date. From today on forward, Airfare goes up pretty fast which also means the cost to get tune will go up fast too. Today, the airfare price is $665 which means it will cost $65/person extra (I only cover up to $350 myself) for the tune on 5 people. You can expect as much as $100 extra per person (5 people), if I book the flight 21 days in advance and $150 extra per person on anything less than 21 days.

Hey Steve, yea i asked you that very same question, if 5 would be enough people for a tune, posted it about 5 days or more ago. You never did get back to me.
Well im game for sending my deposit tomorrow to you. If you could just let everyone know how much we would be paying extra on top of the tune, and ill have to just tie up the loose ends with the dyno.

I honestly won't know how much more it would be until I receive all deposits and book my flight. I remembered last time when I booked my flight to Montreal, it was close to $900 (that was with 18days lead time). I looked at the airfare today and it was $665 so use that as a baseline.
As stated before, if for any reason that the session is cancel. I will not cash in the deposit. The only time that the deposit is non-refundable is when I book my flight and I'm commited to the session.

Well looks as if interest died on this, or something. Maybe we will try this again for spring, once the beasts come out from hibernation. That way we can get more people together and have more time to organize this.
Unless whos in for sending deposits! I am, but who else?

Spring would probaby be a better idea, it would give everybody time to have there cars tweaked before the tune, there really isnt much point in getting a tune done right before the cars get put away for the winter anyways, is there?
Have you guys tried posting on the likes of beyond? I know theres a shitload of rotaryowners (not rotorheads) in this city just wallowing in money.
I'd help guys if I had a better setup car, worthy of a kan tune, but its simply not worth it at the moment.

Yea i know it sucks, i wanted to get it, but to be honest we didn't have enough people, So we will gather interest throughout Winter and try to get a Tune session in April or May. How does that sound?
