Spring Fever- When will your car hit the streets again?
Ok boys, just doing a little poll to see when your planning on bringing your cars out of winter hibernation. (if u havent already)
I am waiting for the roads to get cleaned up a little bit before i pull mine out. but its oh so tempting to do it now

Well it's getting closer, the weather isn't being cooperative at all, but I reinstalled the gauges in the S5 stereo surround, welded in a new O2 bung in the DP, re-wrapped the DP, have the battery on the charger, cleaned it up a little, wire wheeled the Mustang wheels I just bought.
Now I need to install my EGT, and relocate the boost gauge to the pillar, and fix the pass side door handle, I think i should be good, and running on the streets in about 2 weeks if all goes well!

my car is well under way. i got started welding up my exhaust last night so a few more hrs on that and it shall be done. Still have to finish up my wiring harness for the haltech. also waiting on some oil lines from a forum member, flanges and gaskets. Next week or so will be time for intercooler piping and hopefully i wil be able to start it up after 2 yrs of long nights, blood, sweat and tears, lol. My EAT will probly be for the end of april just after exams are done.
Check out my progress thus far on my cardomain page in the sig.
hope to see the 7's out in ottawa again, only this time i will be driving. cant wait!

If all goes well, she should be up and running by the end of the first week of April. Alot of work left to do, well ok, all the work I had to do is still left to do.
Hmmn...let's see...after I install the water pump, rad, oil cooler, oil lines, omp, omp lines, omp linkage, needle valve in the carb, relocate the battery, wrap the header, install the fuel pump, and fuel pressure regulator and hook up the fuel line to the new carb, I should be good to go. So...early May...
I hope.

I'm hoping for late April to mid May. I have the new suspension sitting in the basement, and will soon be ordering a carpet set and the interior trim necessary to put the inside back together. Also have a brake upgrade waiting to go on the car and I think that may actually be it...Oh, and I need a boost controller.
Well, it did turn Spring the past Thursday and the Fb was out on Friday afternoon for a run down to Mini Grid on Mount Pleasant. I use an oil pan heater to get the car to operating temps faster in this type of weather.
The drive down the DVP was fantastic, forgotten how responsive and fast it was.

Not without an engine. I found one sitting in a corner. Moved into my car when no one was looking
Seriously with this weather (woke up this morning with snow on the ground) I may have to take it for a ride at least the weekend before the big cruise to DGRR.
Yes. The wrong crowd. At least we only have to put up with each other once a year. "other then this forum"
