Spring Fever- When will your car hit the streets again?
Well, we had our second rainfall last week so the salt is all gone, so I took mine out yesterday. Even with all the mud in the alley I decided to try anyways. Sure enough she got stuck but I got the shovel out and deflated the tires and 30 minutes later I drove her out.
Today, my dad came over in the dually pickup so I had him drive up and down a few times to smooth out the ruts and now I have no problems driving in the alley to reach the garage.
Tomorrow I am going to buy grass seed to take care of that alley...

Tina is on the road! Took her out of the garage yesterday afternoon after the installation of a new clutch master, slave and stainless line. I pleasant surprise was that there was already 3/4 of a tank of gas already there. Started first try and it was nice to hear the "brap brap brap" echo through the driveway again.
Bigger brakes go on tonight, suspension later in the week, seats/carpet/trim whenever they arrive.

that's good to hear it started right up.

The brake upgrade will not be as straightforward as I thought, but overall won't be too much of a delay. So Tina won't be on the road regularly for another week or so.
actually i was at MOTM and it was great to see your car there.
what are you doing for brake upgrade? or have you posted that somewhere already.

Going with the factory 4 piston calipers and rotors to match. However I am making it work on my 4 lug hubs...It's a lot easier then it sounds. The caliper bolts right up and once drilled, the rotors almost fit. The rotors just need to be spaced out a little to clear the caliper bracket.

What, no SS lines?
Lookin' good Aaron. I still haven't seen Tiina in person yet, been looking forward to it for quite a while. Hopefully we'll make it out to the same meets this year

Stainless lines to be installed once the parts are out of the mockup stage. Waiting on some spacers from the laser cutter, and I still need to paint the calipers and rotors.

But please try not to smoke in the car!
