For those of you who like to drive your cars competetively, there's a SOLO II event at the Barrie Molson Center Sunday Aug. 21st. It's a bout a 45 minute drive North from Toronto. The Twin Lakes Motor Club organizes the events there & the lot is really big & the atmosphere is pretty laid back. There's usually a few RX's there but it would be nice to see more. Registration starts around 8:30 AM - bring your helmet & $25 for registration. Actually, you might want to bring more $ for beer later. I'll be there in my ugly yellow 1st gen.

IT's not a solo II event actually it's a Solo II course with a run what you brung heads up race, ( meaning an escort goes up against an ICE racer and/or a built to the walls STi.. it's very fun, no scrutineers and points deducted for class add on's. Courses are usually very fast punctuated by extreme braking into nasty mutiple corners and off camber corners..
