My airdam was victim of a cone hit at high speeds the home depot rope just had to do...

I finished 13th overall on raw time
12th on 48 in the street prepared category.
I guess itsnot too bad for my second season.

jeremy, note that the car is entering a pretty tight 90deg turn to the right that certain cars were taking in 1st gear (which may be difficult to notice in the pic half of the 90deg box is not seen) while decelerating from 3rd gear (between 55-65 mph, I didnt check) which can accunt for the suspension beeing compressed

As for the suspension components, got new 350 lbs/in springs in the front & 200 rear on threaded collars and tokico hp's all round. But I must say that you got me on the left front shock, its is dead. I'm expecting my Illuminas any time now... (I was told 3 weeks a month ago )

If there is a threaded system for BOTH the front and the back I would buy it in a instant.

thats odd. i have some sport springs off of the se dave parted and my car maybe leans an inch, maybe. i guess i would get more if i was running a r compound tire. i'm curious about this threaded collar for the rear too.

this is a picture of the springs before I installed them:
(once again crappy quality)

the two gold color collars on the outer springs are what I am talking about (for the rear).

no welding or cutting necessairy. they just sit on the bump stop and the spring.

Not my car but this is what the front looks like:

once again not my car, this is what the rear looks like installed looks like installed (if you can make the collars out behind the shock).

I'm not lowering the rear any more that what its at due to binding, just as the suspension settled in the rear I noticed a growing problem... at least not until I make or buy a Tri-Link and Panhard bar.

I got them at ISC racing somewhere in the california area and the cost was 45$ per collar & 48$ for the 8 inch springs. this is the phone # (863) 324-2742

90$ is a little expensive IMO for what you get... but I dont regret it. But like i said before, once i get the tri-link and panhard bar, I will take the collars off comptetely in the rear to get maximum lowering & optimal ride height for racing. The rear wheels are slightly tucked in the fender without the collar, using the 8 inch springs (bump stops must be cut to be drivable).
