BC Security system installation

So, I'm looking to get an immobilizer and keychain-warning style alarm system installed in my 1988 RX7 GXL. I live in Delta, B.C. (Near Richmond) I found that the biggest suggestion in the forums about alarm systems was just to make sure it's installed PROPERLY.

So my question is, does anyone know any good alarm/security system installation places in the Vancouver/Richmond area?

Thanks for the info, but the only Canadian store on their dealers section is in ontario! I was hoping to find a reputable shop in the area because I'd like to avoid taking it to Canadian Tire or Future shop or some crap like that.

I think I'll give the guys at ForceFed and Garage 5 a phone call and see what they have to say.

Awesome thanks, I'll give them a call. I'm looking to get a keyless entry kit installed at the same time, any experience with this; Easy enough to do, or am I looking at a big job?

Did keyless on my old 3rd gen, was great when it worked, however if you blow a fuse, or your battery dies you have to learn quick how to break into the car. As a word of advice, it happened enough that I had to do just that, this was never fun, especially if you have someone else waiting to get into the car with you. I modified my door handles so they were just a solid peace with no handle, my suggestion if you do this is to retain the lock and handle, to avoid that issue. Otherwise pretty trick mod.

BCAA sells a badass immobolizer. Its got 3 different things you can imobolize. Most commonly you cutt off fuel. But it gives you 2 more options to do what ever you want. Its got a key fob that u dont click or anything, it just hangs on your keychain and that disarms it.

Though it doesnt come with the security indicator on the keychain. Its worth checking out though because I think they still give you credit for a free install at the garage of your choice.

Just remember the install is just as important as the alarm. A cheap install will leave all the critical wires hanging out with easy access for a thief. 2 way pagers and backup batteries are something else to think about.

Anyone have any experience with VADER speed and sound on no.3 road in Richmond?

They sell mostly compustar systems, along with some Autowatch immobilization systems.
