Searched Already, but..

Hi everyone,
I need somebody who is a master at repairing rotaries and lives close (or as close as possible) to Hamilton, Ontario.
I was going to request Jim K services, but apparently, he only does transmissions and engines....
Any suggestions? I found a thread but two of the links posted are dead. I also found Rowe Tech... Oakville I believe? Any experiences?
Thanks in advance.
I might need a few things, like installing a new set of turbos (unless I decide to do it myself) an overall checkup, perhaps installation of a Power FC?

Giovanni

Best way is to do it yourself IMO. I have pulled my turbos, tranny ect. Installing a PFC is a breeze......

I have the FSM if you need to borrow.

Mazdee`s in Pickering is the nearest shop to you that I would trust.

Hi boys, thank you for the suggestions.

I have no problem with Dave, I don't think I have ever heard one pip of complaint from anybody about what he does. The issue is, if I have to leave the car there, I need somebody to drive 120 Kms there and 120 back, then when the car is ready, we'd have to do it again...

It is a very very long ride to drop off and pick up a car...

I can probably pull the turbos at school and I think it's pretty straight forward to install them, especially considering that mine were changed two years ago, so nothing should be seized...

Thank you for the shop manual, I have the electronic version and I print pages from time to time, but if it's needed, I'll let you know.

^ You can always take the Go train. It's about a 10 minute walk which I used to do before getting the RX-8 as a beater or if you ask they can drop you off there.

If your mechanically inclined you can do the turbo's yourself with patience. PowerFC is a matter of plugging it in and cutting the 4 wires (if your car is LHD, otherwise just plug it in).

lol... then I'll keep my mouth shut.

But on that note I heard Can-Jam Motorsports is back open for business for more than just the Subaru Rally stuff. They are about 50-60km closer to you than Mazdee's and Stewart is a GREAT guy. Maybe someone else can confirm that they are taking on new customers.

Was going to suggest this.

The GO Train is literally just down the road from Mazdees. More than a 10 minute walk, but probably a $10 cab ride. (or I'm sure they'd drop you off as thewird said)

you can always come to me
I'm in mount hope near hamilton airport.
I'm not a shop but I've been working on rotaries long enough. A turbo set install and powerfc is just up my alley. I can do fabrication too have all the equipment to do so.

I have a TIG, lathe, drill presses, bead roller, etc
