You can't change a pdf directly into a jpeg. That's like trying to turn a book into a video clip.
Are you trying to use an image within a pdf, or a section of text? If so, you can do a screen capture and go from there. SnagIt is great for this.

Or you can do it without installing anything.
Get the page you want on your screen. And then press "print scrn" button on the keyboard.
Open up MS Paint (located in your accessories folder), go to "Edit" , and "Paste".
The whole screen from your PC will come up.
You can cut and crop in Paint and then save it as a Jpg file when you're done.

Take a look at the time I posted... I just finished breakfast so I checked the PC... :p
Got back in from cleaning the 3. Damn salt stains! Thankfully that salt and stain removal from Simoniez really works!

Off to see X-men in a couple of hours...
Lates,

Lates,
You can turn PDF into a bitmap image (tiff, jpeg etc) using Photoshop.
You just use the 'Import PDF Image' command in the File menu. The PDF will show up as a layer. Just flatten it and 'save as'...
