More than happy about the idea of a meet in May though.

 

So... I'm not too familiar with the West side of the city; but is the Ottawa River parkway under the same rules as the Rockcliffe parkway? In other words which kind of cops patrol the ORP?

 

Is there someone who can tune rotaries in Ottawa?

i wont be showing with my rx7.... i may show with the supra depending if im not working

 

Are you the black dude with white supra? If you are, i have seen you do second gear pull around the area just before mitsubishi,honda dealership (not too familiar with the area)

 

What time is the meet on may 30th?? I'm really trying hard to get my fd on the road by then!! How many of you are attending i'm really looking foward to see some fds!!!

I got mine out of storage on Sunday, it sat for 2 years and fired right up. 1st gens ownzor.....

 

Recently seen couple of fds. One was lime green with body kit and spoiler. Another white one with 99ish spec spoiler. Both JDMs.

 

Nevermind, motor blew up last night. gah....

Umm...well there's a 12A in ottawa in the for sale section, hopefully that one pans out so I can just slap that in for the summer. I still have the bridge port motor that I never put together from years ago. I guess that project will start again. But I'd like to drive it in the meantime. I guess my motor didn't like sitting for 2 years. I was just cruising along, downshifted and bewm.

 

Anyone in Ottawa know a good place where I can do some 3rd gear pulls to redline? I need a quiet place so I can do some AFR tuning on my PFC.

How much is the insurance on a JDM FD? I heard insurance companies take you to the cleaners when they hear RHD.

I have a JDM FD and its actually really cheap on ins. Blew me out of the water actually.

 

If the insurance company will insure the RHD car, then its no more expensive than LHD. They have no little button on their underwriting software that says "LHD or RHD" so they dont bother adjusting.

The problem IS that only something like 65% of insurance companies will insure them.
