Is that the M&M meet for tomorrow, or the cruise tonight?

 

yeh we went for a small cruise, a little mishap with a buddies supra. so only 2 cars went but fun none the less.

so are we going to meet today around noon? i was thinking M&M just because its most central for everyone.

 

Noon is a no go for me. Give me a call if you're up for something later. Or how does everyone like the sound of heading out for supper or drinks some night? Next Wednesday maybe?

 

why dont we just meet up friday night at M&M's so i can have my car there, lol. plus it gives people a weeks notice and then decide??

unless there is still interest today? i was gonna go work on the fc for a bit

 

I'll be gone next weekend. Delivering my 7 to guelph. My last drive in her will be a good one though!

 

Me sponataneously combusting, and me going to M&M have about the same likehood of occurring.

I'm sure we can think of a better place to meet up than that clownshow?

 

yeh i gues we could meet somewhere else. i went for a drive in the 7 tonite and man only a small taste of whats to come. im gonna slave over this car for the next few days to get it done for friday.

*laughs* I wish.

There's some kind of short happening in the electrical system that keeps blowing alternators. I've re-wired the alternator's harness after talking with the guy at the alt rebuild place, but no dice. So on my 3rd rebuild of the alt's voltage regulator now I'm still no closer to finding a solution.

For my *other* FB, it's still in project mode. The 12a is built, I just have to reassemble the front cover stuff and oil pan, bolt it to the tranny and drop it in.

Then the gas tank, fuel pump and lines, exhaust, and the rest of the engine bay have to be installed. Then a brake job and get it running so I can take it to get some metal work done. I'll be taking the last week of october off and hoping to get it driving or at least get the engine in. Though if I had some help before then I'm sure I could get it done more quickly.

It's all just a matter of time, effort and help right now. I've got like 90% of the parts I need.

We got too busy yesterday. Nik, myself and Patrick ran a lot of errands:

- went to see Frankie Calzone for FC wheel bearings.
- brought EviLStink to have windshield replaced
- brought EviLStink to have an appraisal done, since that is now required to sell at 20+ year old car.
- brought Green FD to e-test to have it pass.
- went to Bruno's garage to tune the Haltech. Car starting and idling and revving pretty well now, except for stuck throttle plates (or something).
- went to A&W. The power of advertising made me go there an try the new Uncle Burger
- went to Pat's place to drink beer for a bit.
- Nik got called back to work for today...lame!
- went home.

im in ottawa, never heard of the m&ms, but anywhere where rx7's are meeting count me in im down for sure

but... weather is suppost to me nice all weeknd! 17, and sunny!
if anybody is down meet at tim hortains in stittsville, or kanata give me a shout i wanna see some rx7's!

I'm pretty much downtown and don't know any other people here with RX-7's (let alone nice cars... grrr cheap friends). Point being I'm more than happy to come meet up where ever people are going to be this spring/summer.
