Actually nevermind everyone, I'll just cut the middle out of the 13B gasket.

Awesome. You wouldn't want to drive with all that vibration for 10,000km!!

Hmmm how many days left?

I still haven't started on my car yet, I have to swap out the blown engine and put in my Half-bridge N/A 13B...
Dan and I got the 323 GTX runnning 15psi last night That car is alot of fun!

Dan was hoping to get the RX-4 coupe with the 20B running for the cruise, but I'm pretty sure thats not going to happen since we're still waiting on the Wolf V500 and an engine rotor lol.

Dynoed the car on sunday. 331whp.
Spent all day monday polishing, claybaring, cleaning, etc.

Spent most of yesterday waxing.

During this time, my meth injection system spent it's days gradually filling my intercooler with methanol.

so I spent last night draining 4+L of methanol out of my intercooler pipes and BOV system (which is a huge pain in the ***) and disconnected/plugged the meth line while the car is off. I need a shutoff valve or a solenoid that turns it off whenever the car isn't running, because this is a major issue. I'm not sure why it hasn't happened before, but it sure is happening now!

331HP?!?!? Awesome I knew they were underrating the cars at 280HP. Definitly going for a ride with you. You may have to wait for your ride in a Sterlingified FB til after the trip. I'm losing faith that it will be here within the next 7 days. I could see it showing up right after I leave though.

Well I'm screwed. I went to the wreckers and grabbed a carb off a junker, but the linkage is seized and I don't have time to rebuild it, so this is my last ditch effort unless Sterling gets my carb to me on time. Does anyone have a running Nikki within driving distance of London I can borrow until my Sterling shows up?? I'm willing to pay just to rent it but I need it ASAP. Please call me on my cell-519-619-9668.

So when is this happening? This weekend? Just wondering as the "Dragon's Tail/US129/Deal's Gap" is not the only good road to drive around here.......would be interested in meeting up though since this is my backyard and have been driving the Dragon for the better part of the last 15 years off and on.

I will definitly be making a couple night runs, we have to drive through it on the way to Nantahala on Friday evening anyway. I'll probably run the Skyway and then the Dragon on Sunday before my gf and I head home.

You should do the Skyway with us on Sunday. Less traffic and faster speeds.

I would like to do the skyway. Is it on the way to florida? Pending joe since the cruise for use extends to the keys I still would like to try the skyway too.

Who else is going to the florida keys with us anyhow?

Got the transmission (mostly) filled with RP.

you would not believe how much fluid this thing will hold. I put 5.5L in and then gave up. There was still room for alot more, probably another 2.5+L.

Some good news. My Sterling is finished, and he is shipping it expedite on Monday, so it just might make it by Thursday. He sent some pics and it looks absolutly awesome, so I really hope it makes it on time. Still going to borrow Terrh's Nikki just in case. Got the header back on and bled the clutch tonight. Also got my block off plates bolted to my replacement intake. Just need to cut out the shutter valve, and block the holes. Mounting the oil cooler, changing the engine and differential fluid and hopefully get it fired up tomorrow. Not working til Monday so I've got some time to get alot done.

FMOC mounted and lines tightened, engine oil and diff oil changed. Fuel pump tested, she works, no leaks. Topped off the coolant and remounted amplifier. Intake mani is all blocked off and bolted up to the engine. Terrh's carb is sitting in Varsol now, since the secondary linkage is stuck, and stuck good. Going to let it sit for a day or 3, then hopefully it'll be loose enough to use. Only thing I have left is to put the trunk carpet in, clean the interior, wash the exterior (it needs it BAD) and get a carby on there. Cross your fingers.
