Some random pics of the mosport meet.

My car was not ready and still at the shop so I did not get to participate as planned. This was a Ian Law track school day and OMSC lapping day.

The S2000 was the cleanest year 2000 honda I have ever seen. He lost it at the Mosport track. The rest of the pictures are from the DDT.

 

There were at least 8 WRX STi's out there. THe mosport big track had a ton of S2000's.

 

Who's the guy with the little trailer attached to his FD? That is hardcore!!!

 

Not sure. Did not talk to him. I think he is in solosprint as well.

 

Yep, I remember seeing that FD at the Solo-1 event at Mosport last year. Speedstar had their lapping day at the big track on the 29th hence the high number of S2ks. Ian, any pics of your new rollcage? It was at O'Brien's last week right?

I have not seen it other then what you see in the pictures. How did it look Ronnie just called me to say it is done but I cannot pick it up till tomorrow. I will post pics when I get it.

So is he going to do your car as well? Are you going to be finished for solo racing? I believe you don't need the Roll bar for solo school at the least.

Yep, I spoke to Ronnie last week and he asked me to come by and take a look at another 2nd gen he was working on so I assumed it was yours. I didn't stop by since I've seen his work on the Subaru rally cars at Canjam. His earliest availability is late June/early July so it looks like I won't be able to do any Solosprint events until then. I'm ok for the school - they don't do car classification at the school so it doesn't matter that I'm 4 classes up from stock.

 

I believe the FD with the trailer is owned by one of the Ian Law instructors. It looks familiar to me anyway...

I think that's Gerry, an older (than John) guy who I used to do solo 2 with. very pleasant guy.

do you know if the silver Rx8 was James Mewett? he also owns a real nice black TII.
