Major FB electrical issue (also, anyone got/seen a parts car?)

Hey Guys,

My FB had a major electrical malfunction. I was turning through an intersection and boom! Everything went dead. Something shorted and blew out both my main engine bay fusible (60A - I retrofitted an FC fuse block ages ago) and the "Engine" fuse in the interior fuse box at the same time.

I replaced the fuses but now when I crank it my tach doesn't bounce (so probably dead ignition coils or ignitors), the fuel pump is dead, and I think it blew the choke/check relay and maybe my FD alt. And when the ignition is in ACC I can smell a bit of the burning electrical smell.

Most things I can order from rock auto or places like that, but things like the choke/check relay are impossible to find.

So... Is anyone near Ottawa good at troubleshooting electrical? And does anyone have, or know of, any FB parts cars within a few hours drive of Ottawa that I could raid for relays and ignitors?

Jon

Check to see if your ignition switch blew apart
