MB looking for advice on anti-vandalism/ theft

Hey guys, im just looking for advice on some vehicle protection on my FD, specificly against vandalism but theft too,

I have had trouble before with car vandalism, so basicly i just want to protect my FD.

I Don't have access to a garage just an apartment parking lot, what would be the best security system for my car, is there anything to protect from tire slashing, keying, window smashing, that wont go off when a loud vehicle drives by ? i know very little about alarms, and any info i find makes absolutly no sense.

I would estamate my budget for an alarm to be like 2000 or less.

For $2000 , I will come sleep next to your car! LOL
On a second note, I have the Viper 5900 in my daily driver and it works great with no false alarms!

Get Lamin-X protective film put on the larger areas that people like to key, like the hood and doors. I had the hood on my FB keyed and boy was I pissed.

compustar 2 way pager, a loaded hunting rifle with a scope next to your bed, and make sure you're a light sleeper.

If it isn't your daily driver, a car cover should be in the budget as well as the alarm. Out of site, out of mind. Make sure you get the installer to show you how to adjust the sensitivity of the sensors or else you and your neighbours will get pissed off with all of the nuissance alarms.
