I have no problem with the Keg on a Monday.

 

saturday night is probably best for me. A weekday isn't so good, I usually work 12 hour days.

 

Yay to my idea ... maybe its the free pitcher thats getting more people to come in. lol. Next to decide would be a time ... they close at midnight, so something like 7/8 pm might be pretty good?

We won't even need to do any reservation, but if we do we'll just call our reso rx7

And you guy can walk to to my house to see my car since its not up on the road yet

 

Sounds like we need to go to the Hooters thing and then go over to The Keg after on Monday nights.

I'll have my car running sometime next month I think.

 

That's a good idea...The same could apply to the Wortly show on Tuesday.

Sorry I missed this when i did my last post. That definitly sounds like a plan, I'd love to just get near one again. Those Skyline owners are right, it is liquid sex. Orgasm on wheels as I like to call it. If you want you can take my FB for a spin. It's no FD but it's still a blast and should have the RB SP exhaust on by then. Speaking of Skylines, the shop I just had my axle replaced at has an R32 GTR sitting in the back waiting for new turbos. Sam, I'm going out on sunday, probably won't be back til tuesday or wednesday, so not this time.

 

so what time is hooters at?so we can see if we can do hooters and the keg, im in for the keg, if i make it back ontime

 

the hooters thing starts at 6pm. a sign that we need more people showing up is I won this weeks. 50 free wings for a wing party + a call back for the years last show. This shows two things we need many many more people sense my car is pretty much stock. AND I need to do a ton of work over the summer so I don't look out of place at the year end. but yeah monday nights 6pm hooters.

 

What kind of crowd is normally at Hooters? A lot of LAC members and kids? If that's the case then I would be thinking twice about attending. But if it's primarily older and more mature people with hotrods and such, then count me in.

K need to know who will be there so that i don't look like an idiot walking in and no one else going and what time ... I would say probably not till atleast 8 pm if that hootes things is at 6. But you guys let me know, or Martin, if you could call me up once you guys are done. But it would be nice to know for other people too that don't plan to go to hooters on monday.

Ok so this is the second week in a row that the hooters thing has been less then well lets face it its shitty. so i give up we need to find a london area meet where tuners are accepted and where people actually show up. because the fact me and 4 people are accepted in an empty lot dosnt mean ****. TO THE KEG!

 

Weee ... lol ... had some fun today with warren and his gf ... laying in back of his fd taking up 2 seats . Then he came over to my place to check out my car bits and some of the stuff (sorry about the computer not fully operational yet I'll get working on it tonight to upload all the drivers and stuff so you guys can play with the touch screen.) And we had an even bigger turn out at the at my house than at anywhere i think lol. Had immanuel stop by, along with my other buddies ... one cramped garage.

Anyways ... i was telling this to Warren, but maybe we should setup ones on the beach sometime. Also maybe next monday but I will open another thread to attract more people.

 

Don't get too down about RX-7s not showing up guys, at least three of us who usually show up have broken cars.

 

I had intended to drive by, but needed to stop in at Jim's Speed and order a few parts on the way home from work. And then there's dinner, after which I had to help move some of the heavier items out of my Aunt's old apartment. So I didn't get time to drive by and have a look, which is something I always do before I commit to going to one of these meets. The last thing I want is to hang out with a bunch of 16 year olds who brag about how their fart-can equipped Honda Civic hangs with a C6...What kind of crowd is normally there?

"Tuners" are generally accepted at the Wortly show if they aren't already full. For us, this means they will allow the RX-7s (I already spoke with the coordinator about this).

As for next Monday/Tuesday, there is a very slim chance that my car will be drivable by then. But more likely it will be on the road again by the first weekend of July. My car is in the process of being slightly modified, which can take some time.

That sounds like fun, and I would have liked to see your carputer setup at it's current stage. Interestingly enough, I just retired my MP3 player after nearly 10 years...

We had a beach meet a few years ago and it worked out well. If we are going to do it again, it needs to be a Saturday afternoon, and we need plenty of time to organize (traditionally it's nearly impossible to get a time in which everyone can attend, so it's pointless trying). We could all go to the beach, have a mini-show thing, eat at one of the restaurants, then head down to the track at Sparta. If we want to do a little cruise, we can take the scenic route (and believe me, there certainly is one!).

Hey, mine's not "broken", it's "in progress". And assuming the manifold comes back from the machine shop today or tomorrow, it should be almost ready by the end of the weekend.
