Hey the new clutch is in. Everything is all driveable now. I will be showing up at the westmount thing on thursday night providing the weather isnt horrible. I will be there sometime around 6ish if anyone else is going to come.

 

What is "the Westmount thing"?

 

From my understanding (one of the organizers fromt he wortley one explained this to me) There are more little shows then just the one in wortley. Mondays there is one at hooters tuesday is wortley i forget where wednsday is but thursday is in the back parking lot at westmount mall. he also said something about sunday. I dont know if it was true or if he was just trying to get rid of the little kid in the tuner. but i figure give it a try tommorow night. worst case I am the only person there and i leave.

 

The show Sunday night happens at the Canadian Tire on Dundas St., if I remember correctly. I was not welcome the last time I attended since I was not driving some kind of antiquated American car that handles like a bathtub.

Don't know anything about Tuesday, but you will probably want to avoid the LAC meets on Saturday as well unless you want to hang out with a bunch of Cavaliers and Civics.

Like every other london meet it looked like mostly people with older muscle cars we need good tuner meets.

 

There's no such thing as a good "tuner" meet. For some reason the word "import" attracts a bunch of kids with Civics and Sunfires.

 

Time to start a club by invitations only ... why do we have to wait for people to do things for us?

 

Clubs are evil.

 

I gotta agree I am not huge into clubs. Too much commitment.

We should just find a restaurant everyone likes possibly something with a resonable patio so we can meet up eat and see each others cars.

places with patios keg, hooters, east side marios, swiss chalet, boston pizza. I clearly don't eat out enough when thats my list. I am also a pretty big fan of the taco bell and wendys.

we probably want to do this well before or after dinner time so there is enough room to park close so we can chat without walking 50 feet to the next car. Most nights after 7 are good for me most fridays anytime is good.

So anyone want to take charge and pick time and place. I will use my vote for friday.

Yeah, Friday is not the best for me either. Generally any day is fine with me as long as it's not Friday and I have a few days notice.

 

Ok well i have good news. i went to the hooters car show on monday and talked to the organizer he wanted to see more tuners. he said he would love to be able to judge the tuners as tuners and classics as classic ect rather then seeing everyone pit against eachother. so this monday if anyone can make it out around 6 i will be there.

 

come to windsor on a saturday night. More import horsepower in 1 parking lot than the LAC meet has all year :P And NO cavaliers or sunfires.

I really think it's just london :P

Its a beautiful monday morning. Actually I bloody hate mornings but not the point. Tonight at 6 in the hooters parking lot on wonderland rd there is a meet. The orrganizer is hoping to get classics muscle tuner exotic and special interest. So if anyone is interested in coming out youll be more then welcomed. If your rx is modified your pretty much gaurented a spot along the show side. If not there still arnt a ton around and worst case senario is you park in the next row and chances are the show will flow over there when people see more cars. I am hoping to be there right at 6 but might be 10 or so late. I hope to see some more RX out there.

 

If I had known a few days in advance, I would have cleaned up the Insight and got it ready....

 

Monday nights .. if you guys want to do it at the keg down on wellington road, monday nights are our slowest night and we have a pretty good parking lot (Free of charge) infront of it. Also I can get a discount for 40% up to 4 people. But we can buy like a few nachos and stuff like that to keep us all happy. Its a pretty nice patio too, and I'll buy a the first pitcher of been on the first night
