Ladies and gentlemen, it's raining!

Oh, merciful Mother Nature. Thank you for blessing us with this wonderful rain that shall wash off the roads and deliver me from the cold lonely days of winter.

Ah, the first rain of spring...

Gentlemen, start your engines!

Thank God the snow didn't stay on the ground when it snowed all day - I need more rain. Those street sweepers didn't do their job for nothing...they know what's going on and if they're out that means spring is here...and they have the final say lol

Pushed the 7 (no, did not start it for that is a criminal offense if you do not take her to operating temp) out of the garage into the driveway. Lovingly aired her out and washed her soft curves while anticipating the blessings of summer drives. Re-connected with this rare automobile and communed with the wankel gods...

Only 3 weeks to go and then we're on the road

The rain and spring runoff from snow has caused a persisting puddle in my bedroom (which happens to be in the basement) for days now. It smells like a rancid aquarium in here... eew..

Other than that, the rain makes me happy because it is melting what little ice is still holding my 7s tarp to the driveway. Spring cometh... and it's about time!

You guys down in the GTA are very fortunate... Also the guys out in Montreal.. I can't believe you guys got rain... How I wished it was rain instead of bloody snow!!

I just got home due to the whole lose-an-hour daylight crap... and was it ever dicey!! The plows are nowhere in site and the roads are treacherous!! I lost count how many times the rear end of the Mazda3 got sideways on me!

If it keeps going like this through Sunday my area won't look like spring for another 2 weeks or so!

I'm looking up job postings in Cali and Florida as I type this! I've had enough of this ****!!!

I had the car out last Wednesday, and it was awesome.
I was all set for the official insurance back on roll out come April 1st, and this is what happens???

It hasnt stopped snowing for 2 days here...Plus some freezing rain. Its accumulated on my lawn, and on the cars, but so far the roads look more or less ok.

I just hope they didnt salt again...

Don't stress folks we will be in positive double digits by Wednesday and all of it will be long gone again. Hopefully it will stay away this time. But I have to say the crappy weather helps me study. As soon as the sun comes out all I can think of is zoom zoom.

Yeah and our gas-guzzling 7's will not help. But what the hell -- I'll conserve natural gas and electricity instead.

I seen a salter on the 401 on Sat night. But didn't see any on Sunday.
But I did see some street sweepers out this morning on the way in and we're supposed to get more rain this week.. Whoo hoo!

Ins. is officially on the car as of April 1st (took the chance) and I actually fired up the car yesterday (in the garage) for the first time. She fired up without any problem. Let her warm up and then shut her down... Soon, baby.....sooooooon.
