I got a Spec stage 3 sprung 6 puck and HD pressure plate for around $450 cdn after everything. Seems to work well so far. I had a Mazdaspeed 3 puck before that but it was too harsh engagement, it killed motor mounts.

I'm going to be installing a good ol ebay XTD 6 puck sprung clutch + pressure plate.. this will be replaceing my act 6 puck unsprung + HD pressure plate ... I decided to give it a try.. why the hell not? .. I purchased the clutch for under $300 canadian shipped .. actually the seller was quite good.. he shipped the package via ups, arrived in 5 business days.. he declared the value to only be $50, so I only ended up getting dinged $30 in duty (I didn't even ask him to do this.. I guess he is aware of the crap canadians go through when shipping from the states) .. The package arrived packaged very well, included disc, plate, release and pilot bearings and alignment tool.. The disc looks to be quite good quality, the pressure plate looks good, but for all I know it could jsut be a repainted stock unit.. I guess we will see when we finally get my car back on the road.. if it doesn't hold the power, then I'm out $315 bucks.. if it holds, it would have saved me more than half the price of a name brand clutch...

if you are refering to my ebay purchase, here is a link to the seller I used and his auction for another one of these clutches..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33730

he had actually dropped the price on the clutch kits from when I purchased mine a couple weeks ago by $20usd ... so you'd get an even better deal ...

If the clutch ends up working for me, I wouldn't hesitate ever purchasing another one from this particular seller.. nothing but good things to say about his service

let us know how it holds up.
it looks like they have clutches for non-turbos, so i may be interested in getting one if it works out for you.

i think it's a third party type company that sources parts from other manufacturers. i'm not quite sure though...
