KC Meets getting shut down?!

I wasn't there, but I heard from friends that local law enforcement was blocking entrance/exits at Kennedy Commons this evening and asking people to leave, and not return.
Is it 1995? Or did I miss something?

Fight or racing incident (i.e., crash)?

I'm not sure of any specific inncedent, apperently Chapters called in a complaint and closed early. A girlfriend of mine drove past with her Camry and was still stopped and asked if she would be "street racing tonight" in a half joking way by the officer.

One reason to the "Shut down" is because of the incident a few weeks ago when a few cops came by and one of them backed into a Nissan Altima.

If you thought that wasn't bad already, the officer who hit the driver then proceeded to give out three tickets for improper plate, too low, and yellow fogs lights.

I would just avoid there at all costs as you are looking for trouble as anyone with a car like an FD is bound to get haggled.

Ugh, really?!
What a shame when police forget they're people too.
If a camry gets stopped there's zero chance of me ever going by.

There are no such tickets as 2&3, and if it was in the lot, the cop couldn't write your friend a ticket in the first place. I don't think your friend was being honest with you. And the first charge could only be if buddy had made his own plate, painted his Ontario plate, or wasn't displaying a plate.

Again, I love law enforcement that's doesn't actually KNOW the law. Ugh, and they wonder why they have such a bad rap. :/
Isn't the highway traffic act mandatory reading for someone who's charged with upholding it's rules?!
