This wasn't about the 25K - nor the 12.5K. This wasn't even about money. Hell, if it would have cost 12,500 pounds to post it on ebay she probably would have paid it.

This was done purely with malicious intent - regardless of cost. She wanted to hurt him, not his wallet. And I'll bet she'd do it all over again.

I've learned not to underestimate a couple of things:

1) Stupid people in groups.
2) People with revenge on their mind.

Yes, there is a lot of crap on TV/radio, but that doesn't make it right. If people don't start drawing the line again, we're going down the drain as a society. No wonder so many other cultures are already looking down on us.[/QUOTE]

Society is down in a drain, the new rude crude kind of d.j has figured out being like that pays off only filling in the demand, If people don't enjoy it, it is a radio station and the dial turns very easily. now i'm not saying that the increase in people pushing their limit's in radio and t.v aren't wrecking the young But that for the majority it is an OPTION to watch or listen to what we choose and that parents can moderate and educate there children, lol just once i'd love to see or hear a rap video/song thats not about killing a ****** with a 9mm because of disrespect then going to party with the gang drinking expensive wine and driving bentlys with the moslty naked skanks hanging off them now tell me thats not pushing it,

As I said, there was a previous incident, so it was probably discussed. Besides, some things, such as being respectful towards your spouse, you shouldn't have to discuss! You're married, so you should know these things

She should spent her time filing for divource, rather then filing (if you will) for an ad on ebay!
She obviously didn't care about the money, so I wouldn't call her stupid. She knew that car was worth more, but she didn't care. Also, for all we know there is a prenup, so she doesn't owe him squat.

Trick is, gents to do one of the following:

1) Marry above your station in life to a highly successful woman who has more money (or will have) than you, or;

2) Have a solid pre-nuptial agreement that will allow all of this to be avoided if the marriage fails.

As for me, I did 1) above. She looks like she's 30 and she makes FIVE times more money than I. There, I bragged shamelessly.

Oh, and by the way, she LIKES 7's but can't drive a stick.

For what its worth, I think the car was worth more than 25000 pounds.
I would say 50000 would be more accurate. Assuming an exchange rate of roughly 2.2, that would equal $110000 CDN which is more accurate.

Further, Evilrotor and John Travolta got it right. Dont F&@K with a mans automobile. Kick him in the nuts if you want, but leave the wheels out of it. (besides, if it was really in her name, why didnt she just sell it for what it's worth and keep the money?)

And as for a "stereotypical male response", I would have to say, what you just gave was a stereotypical female response. (SNAP!...j/k)
If he was flexing his humor skills by flirting with some overweight ugly woman, would she have reacted the same way? If the self confidence Myrxbad was talking about was not an issue, then the answer should be yes. But I get the feeling it would be no in this instance.

(Anyone know why i have subscribed to this thread with instant notification but am not receiving emails when someone replies?)

Because the point was for it to be gone within 2-3 hours. For 25,000 pounds, that wasn't going to happen. Besides, revenge is about what hurts more, and it hurts a hell of a lot more if the car was sold for 50 pence rather than it's worth.

She already knows me for who I am. (Unlike our Dj and wife couple.)

The guy deserved what was coming to him. It said in that news article that there was a previous incident, so things were likely discussed. There is really no excuse whatsoever for that kind of behaviour. I really don't care if its a radio show or not, if it was discussed before, and they agreed on something (whatever it was), then he has no reason to do it again.

The car wasn't actually his anyway. The ownership was in HER name making it HER car. Who cares who actually drove it or claimed whos car it was. The ownership has the last say, meaning it was her car. She had the right to sell it for whatever she wanted.

I wonder if there is a lean on it???

All that would have to be done is to stop making payments on it and someone would repo it.

Sure you leave a bad mark on a credit record, but the guy who bought it doesn't get a free car. And it seems that taking the car away is the name of the game.

If I leave the toilet seat up, and my wife and I discuss how I wont do it anymore, and the next day, I do it again.

Would it be over reacting for her my car?
Or perhaps, would another discussion be a better option?

I get the whole revenge thing, but what ever happened to eye for an eye?
She should have just responded in kind.

I mean, now, one could say that he will want to exact HIS revenge on her.
And why shouldnt he.

And as for the whole 2-3 hour thing, she could have just drove it somewhere and "hid" it to accomplish the same thing. Even going so far as to do the ebay thing, and have a friend create an account and bid on it (which may actually have happened judging from the 0 feedback the buyer has) and pretend to have sold the car.

For me, if I was gonna sell the car for the whole revenge thing, I would want proper satisfaction. I would blow it up. Then he KNOWS that its not a prank.
